S College of Commerce & Economics, Smt. Kusumtai Chaudhari College of Arts today has reached the pinnacle of success. Inspired by the vision of Late Shri. Madhukarrao D. Chaudhari, we endeavor to impart Education which will make our students ‘Employment-Worthy’. Since our Teaching Methodology is a beautiful blending of personal touch and the latest information communication technology, teaching – learning process becomes more student friendly and very effective. Commendable performance of our staff and students at various levels has achieved our college a social recognition over the years as a unique center for Education and Culture. ABOUT THE TRUSTA young sapling planted initially has blossomed in to a tree spreading its branches and stems of education the example is Thakur Educational TrustThakur Educational Trust was formed by the Thakur family as a sense of responsibility of repaying the social debt. The trust was registered as a Public Trust in the year 1990 with an objective to lend a helping hand towards the welfare of the society and reform the educational system. In the year 1990, the trust kept its first step in the field of education and now it has become a conglomerate of premiere educational Institutions driven by Thakur family. The trust is a combination of premier educational Institutes, University accredited professional courses and autonomous courses. All the Institutions under this Thakur Educational Trust are ISO certified, which is an acknowledgement of the Institution capability to deliver and cater the need of the education with professionalism worldwide. The Thakur Educational Trust has catered various needs of the society including education from KG. to PG at all levels irrespective of sex, creed and religion.

Shailendra Education Society’s Arts, Commerce and Science College was established in 1994 with the launch of Commerce faculty. The Arts faculty was started in the year 1996. The college began with the primary objective of providing education to the lower socio-economic strata of the society who are very often the first generation learners. To increase the employability of the students the college launched self-finance courses from 2004 onwards. Under the self-finance courses BBI, BMS and B.Sc. (IT) courses are offered. The college has been sanctioned Research Centre in the Subject of Business Economics under the faculty of Commerce The College has undergone NAAC reaccreditation process in November 2011 and has been awarded B grade with CGPA of 2.92.
